How to Access

From Gilgit City

Travel on the Gilgit–Ghizer Road towards Gahkuch. The journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours by private car or public transport and offers beautiful views of mountains, rivers, and villages along the way.

From Islamabad

Travel to Gilgit either by air or via the Karakoram Highway. From Gilgit City, continue to Gahkuch by road. Depending on the mode of travel, the complete journey generally takes one day or more.

From Chitral

Visitors can travel through Shandur Pass during the summer season. After crossing Shandur, continue through Phander and Gupis to reach Gahkuch. This route remains closed during winter due to heavy snowfall.
