Chinese Cemetery is located in Danyore Valley about ten kilometers away from Gilgit city. The cemetery was established in early 1970 which serves as the final resting place as well as a tribute to the Chinese Engineers and Workers who sacrificed their lives during the construction of the 8th wonder of the world, the Karakoram Highway (KKH) in Pakistan during 1960s and 1970s.
